MSU announces the start of a new educational program supported by the Foundation
The educational program is supported by Vega Institute Foundation and is geared towards the students of three faculties of Lomonosov Moscow State University: Mechanics and Mathematics, Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics, and Moscow School of Economics. As part of the program, the spring semester of 2020/2021 academic year will offer the first four courses of lectures intended for third-year students and older:
- Brownian Motion, Stochastic Calculus and Its Application in Financial Mathematics (Professor Yuri Kabanov, Lomonosov Moscow State University)
- Probability and Statistics in Machine Learning (Professor Lyudmila Grigorieva, University of Konstanz, Germany)
- Introduction to Game Theory (Professor Vasily Kolokoltsov, University of Warwick, UK)
- Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies (Professor Dean Fantazzini, Moscow School of Economics of Moscow State University, Rostislav Berezovsky, research analyst, PhD)
All courses will be accompanied by seminars/discussion sessions conducted by Moscow State University staff, and some seminars of the Brownian Motion, Stochastic Calculus and Its Application in Financial Mathematics course will be conducted by the staff of Quantitative Research Department of VTB Bank.
