The results of the additional selection to the research groups were announced
In the spring semester of 2023, twenty-three more students will join the Foundation's research groups.
The group selection took place until March 30. Among those who applied were students from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, National Research University “Higher School of Economics”, the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, the New Economic School, the Sirius National Technical University, and St. Petersburg State University. Students could apply to up to three groups, ranking them by priority. The average competition for groups was 7 people per seat, based on all three priorities.
This academic year, research will be conducted in the six areas:
Group 1. Stochastic Volatility Models;
Group 2. Optimal Control in Decentralized Finance;
Group 3. Factor Analysis and Forecasting;
Group 4. Pricing and Hedging Derivatives on Proprietary Indices;
Group 5. Currency Market Making;
Group 6. Fundamental Problems in Financial Mathematics.
Already this week, the groups begin their work with a new lineup.
